Cynthia A. Cline   H.B.A., LL.B.

Cynthia ClineCynthia graduated with a High Honours, Bachelor of Laws from Carleton University in 1997. Cynthia obtained her law degree from the University of Windsor in 2001. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002.

Cynthia began her career as an Associate at the Toronto law firm, Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP where she gained valuable experience in corporate and commercial law, including public and private securities offerings, incorporations, acquisitions, financings, corporate governance and securities registration.

In May 2005, Cynthia returned to her hometown of Thunder Bay.  She worked for 10 years at another local Thunder Bay law firm where she was able to develop a practice in the areas of corporate commercial law, commercial and residential real estate and mining law.  She also practiced with a sole practitioner in Thunder Bay in order to gain exposure to a small firm practice before she joined Buset & Partners LLP in 2016.

Corporate Commercial Law:

Cynthia has worked with a wide range of clients including: public and private corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, and individuals. She has advised clients in a number of areas including:

Real Estate Law:

 Cynthia regularly advises clients on both residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Mining Law:

Cynthia also has extensive experience in the mining sector. She regularly advises both public and private mining corporations on a variety of matters including: option and joint venture agreements, title review, financings, going public transactions, and acquisitions.
